What if we could create the community of our dreams — together?
Imagine a community where nobody goes hungry. Where every person has a place to belong. Where children grow up surrounded by opportunity, seniors are valued and supported, and neighbours genuinely care for one another.
Imagine a community where health, education, recreation, housing, transportation, and the necessities of life are available to everyone.
Imagine a community where cooperation replaces competition, generosity replaces scarcity, and the measure of our success is not how much money we accumulate, but how well we live and how much we contribute to one another.
Imagine that community is Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
Welcome to Imagine NDG, an ambitious community-building initiative dedicated to transforming our Montreal neighbourhood into a model of what is possible when people come together around a shared vision.
We envision a future in which every one of NDG's 68,152 residents can enjoy an extraordinary quality of life, regardless of their financial circumstances.
It will not happen overnight. It will take imagination, collaboration, thoughtful planning, resources, and a willingness to try new approaches.
But every great transformation begins somewhere.
Ours begins here. And it begins with you.
Our Invitation
We are inviting residents, community organizations, businesses, schools, faith communities, and anyone who loves NDG to help imagine and build a better future.
You do not have to agree with every part of our long-term vision. You only have to believe that together, we can make life better for our neighbours.
Imagine NDG — Creating a NuVo, better world, one day and one person at a time.
